Product Review

  • Very comfortable, but lacks toughness.

Let me start by saying these are a really comfortable shoe for general walking etc. I used these for one canyon trip and found that the fancy lace bits in the side just won't cope with punishment. They wear and fray very quickly when subjected to abrasion from rock. If this breaks you'd have to modify how the laces do up. I found the water drainage fine and the amount of sand that winds up in the bottom was OK. Your not emptying them every five minutes. Overall I'd say they are a nice comfortable shoe to wear in the water and hiking but if your planning on steep rocky climbs out of canyons where you feet might get trapped in rock, go for something else.
