Product Review

  • Pity they wear out so fast
    Reviewed on 5/09/2016 by adrian
Bought these March/April 2015. Bought because "runners" were wearing out to soon, thinking that a walking shoe might be4 better wearing. Alas they give about 6 months more time before they need replacing. Now no longer have much tread and get better traction out of my thongs! Not the most comfy shoe either. They are ok, but I find the lacing a little uncomfortable and perhaps those with mid to wide feet might want to reconsider. Wont be buying these again. Would try another style on and consider but for the out lay not worth it. I walk mainly on footpaths and walk between 5-15k per day (5 days a week)
  • A great shoe - pity I've worn them out!

i purchased the Moab Ventilator GTX shoes prior to our major Europe trip in 2013. I was very impressed with them, and they performed great backpacking through 15 countries and were worn every one of our 89days in Europe in the sun, snow and pouring rain, and on hikes through the mountains of Switzerland. They have since been to New Zealand twice. But alas there is no more sole, so they are now relegated to just bumming around the house... Definitely a great shoe...
  • Great shoe like all merrells but no good for trail running
    Reviewed on 8/04/2015 by Liam
I was so excited when I purchased these shoes. I have always worn merrell but not for trail running. The shop told me they are a great trail running shoe. However, they have caused me calf problems which I have never had before. I can no longer use them for trail running which is really disappointing. Well made shoe but just doesn't do what I was sold them for. Still love merrell.
