Product Review

  • Robust, yet sleek
    Reviewed on 7/03/2019 by Michael
The Trail Glove 5 is robust whilst remaining sleek and agile.
With a hardy outer sole to conquer any trail, the Trail Glove 5 is still lightweight and streamline enough to give the ever sought after 'barefoot' feel to my runs. I believe the Trail Glove 5 is suitable for any and every foot.
With such a flat base and large surface area underfoot, it is flawless at gaining traction on any terrain from loose gravel to grass and roads. The shoe runs true to size and gives enough room width-wise to comfortably splay the toes.
  • A great reworking of a classic Merrell style
    Reviewed on 4/03/2019 by James
The Trail Glove 5 has hung on to all of the lightweight flexibility that made the previous editions great, and has only got better. It has been given a tougher mesh upper, wider toe box and an increased arch support compared to the Trail Glove 4. The arch is slightly on the aggressive side for me but others will definitely appreciate the added support. The tougher mesh upper is a big win as with my previous Trail Gloves the mesh was the first point of wear. Overall the Trail Glove 5 is another shoe with great ground feel, durability and comfort I am happy to have in my closet.
